Hello Love, I'm Taylor Rae!

My pronouns are she/her/hers.

YAYYY!! You're here! I hope you're as excited as I am!

First and foremost, it's important to know that I am an inclusive photographer and am LGBTQIA+ friendly. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves love and to have their love captured in a way that feels authentic to them. So no matter your race, religion, sexual orientation or identity, please know you are loved, welcomed, and celebrated here. I cannot wait to capture your authentic self!

It's important to get to know your photographer because you'll probably be kissing in front of me... a lot, so who is Taylor Rae Photography?! To start, I'm 24 years old and have been a wedding photographer for 4 years now. Before that, I primarily photographed high school seniors and families. While I enjoy capturing all moments, I found a passion for couples. It has been so sweet to see people so in love and get to know them throughout the wedding planning process and beyond. It's so exciting to see couples enter new chapters of their lives, most often the best moments of their lives too. From your engagement session to your wedding day and welcoming your first baby into the world, I hope to be with you through it all. I love getting to tell a story through my lens. I'm a people person and thrive off of creating a personal connection with others, so be prepared for me to quietly sob behind the lens during your ceremony. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to capture so many incredible love stories (cheesy but true). So the least I can do for you is stand by your side and capture all the tears, laughs, and occasional booty grabs. Whether you're here for a while or just stalking me, I hope you find a photographer who is just as passionate about your wedding day as you are.

Outside of photography, I am a (dog) mom. I have two corgis, Sassy & Bubblez. They are undoubtedly the BEST snuggle buddies (even if they take up 75% of the bed). I am a Michigan State University Alum - GO GREEN. I'm currently a school psychology graduate student at Grand Valley State University. You can almost always find me with coffee in hand, my go-to fuel for long wedding days. I'm also a margarita girly and enjoy a good tequila. I LOVE traveling. Last year I traveled to France, Ireland, Italy, and Mexico. My favorite city in the U.S. is Chicago. One of my longest dreams has been to move to downtown Chi and have my Carrie Bradshaw moment. I'm currently binge watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine. When I'm not in class or working, I love hanging out with friends and dancing. I may not be the best dancer, but you better bet your bottom dollar I WILL be on the dance floor at your wedding.

I would love to hear all about you now, so go send me an inquiry & let's get this party started!
